The Match of the Dames initiative, founded by Anne Morris to introduce more women to live football, is expanding to five non-league clubs for the 2026-27 season. Following a successful pilot with Altrincham FC in 2025, the scheme will now include Brackley Town, Hartlepool United, Solihull Moors, and Southend United. Each club will host eight dedicated fixtures, aiming to welcome 1,000 first-time female supporters across the season.
