500k for presidential access
A shadow corporation inside a federal charity sold presidential access for $500k—and rewrote history. The damning report is out now.
What the video says
A congressional report says the Trump administration turned America's 250th birthday into a pay-to-play scheme, selling presidential access for half a million dollars a sponsor. The investigation found a shadow corporation inside the National Park Foundation diverted $40 million in federal contracts to Trump loyalists and built a partisan voter database disguised as a government website.
Freedom Trucks, federally funded mobile museums, replaced civic lessons with Christian nationalist content, including an AI-generated George Washington, claiming rights come from God, not the Constitution. National Park signs detailing slavery, indigenous removal, and climate change were erased while artists recruited for nonpartisan events faced backlash after their names appeared at a Trump rally.
The report calls it a template for future betrayals. What they pulled off here could happen again if we don't challenge them.
Congressman Jared Huffman says he can't recall anything like it, watching a trusted charity hijacked to enrich allies and rewrite history for one man's agenda.
