It represents a major creative shift. The studio retooled the original French Resistance concept into a contemporary story about citizens fighting a populist government, which was consistent with a febrile global zeitgeist.
The Day of the Jackal adapter Ronan Bennett is overseeing the script. This is not their only big move.
Star Trek icon Kate Mulgrew is also joining them. She is set to star in the upcoming Irish drama The Yank, a 6-episode series that allows the independent studio to build its own luck as it marks 10 years in the business.
