In India, the startup Skyroot Aerospace is preparing for a historic, high-stakes milestone of its own. The company, which has raised approximately $160 million to reach a valuation over $1 billion, has set a launch window between July 12th and August 4th.
If successful, The flight of its Vikram-1 rocket will mark India's very first private attempt to place a launch vehicle into orbit.
