While the current app relies on on-device AI to keep recordings private, it often struggles with complex audio. The picture that emerges from leaks suggests users can upload files to Samsung servers for more precise processing.
Beyond smarter transcriptions, the update is expected to support exporting recordings as MP3 and WAV files. This expands sharing options, moving past the default M4A format used today.
Users will also get a dedicated storage manager to track space, alongside an inline animated waveform. Commentators note these features are expected to arrive alongside One UI 9 later this month.
