8 players will soon be able to clash in multiplayer battles on Nintendo's unreleased hardware, according to the filing from FromSoftware's newly disclosed project. The legendary developer is launching the first public playtest for The Duskbloods, marking a notable milestone for the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 console.
To secure a spot, hopeful participants must submit their application on the official website between July 22nd and July 28th. Applying does not guarantee entry, and hopefuls must meet 3 strict prerequisites, including owning a Nintendo Switch 2, a Nintendo account, and an active Nintendo Switch Online membership.
FromSoftware will announce the selected players on August 7th, who can then preload the game starting on August 18th. The actual network test will feature 5 separate 4-hour sessions running from Friday, August 21st through Sunday, August 23rd.
