New DC Fighting Game

While DC fans have spent years whipping themselves into a frenzy waiting for any sign of Injustice 3, a completely different fighting game just beat it to the punch. Developer Dropfake has officially announced DCKO, a brand-new licensed fighting game confirmed for a 2027 release on iOS and Android.

Instead of the console experience many expected, this mobile title shifts the focus to fast-paced 2-on-2 tag team battles. Per the announcement, players can pair heavy hitters like Superman with faster, combo-focused fighters from a roster that includes Batman, Wonder Woman, and Constantine.

Crucially, the game will feature real-time PvP multiplayer, which is documented as a first for any DC Mobile fighting game. Outside of competitive matches, a dedicated PvE mode lets players battle threats like Amazo's robotic army and Trigon's demonic forces to earn character upgrades.

With pre-registration already live ahead of an upcoming beta, this is the official DC fighter players will actually be playing first.
