How did Sonic make it into Fortnite without breaking his strict no-gun rule? Sega found a clever loophole.

Sonic will never hold a gun. Yet the legendary blue blur just officially joined the shooter Fortnite.
Epic Games actually approached Sega more than a couple of years ago for this massive crossover. Sonic Team boss Takashi Iizuka refused to break the mascot's strict gun rule.
So they took creative liberties, declaring Fortnite's playable character is actually Android Sonic.
