A Canadian school gave a toddler a Google account. When Nova Scotia mother Kim Herrick tried to delete it, school officials refused.
They declared the account an absolute requirement for learning, but Herrick warns students frequently use school devices for gaming and trading Bitcoin. Her daughter, who is entering Grade 2, had already held the secret account for 3 years without her knowledge.
