$1 Billion Immunology Deal

Ravenclip showcase channel

A $1 billion upfront payment just changed the future of immunology. Here is what Sanofi and Regeneron are building next.

What the video says

A pharma giant just paid $1 billion upfront. Sanofi expanded its longstanding immunology alliance with Regeneron to develop next-generation long-acting antibodies.

The deal adds 4 new pipeline assets, including a clinical-stage antibody named REGEN20423. As part of the agreement, the partners settled their prior litigation.

They will now equally split all future development costs, commercialization expenses, and profits. This builds on a 20-year partnership that created Dupixent, which currently treats over 1.5 million people.

By expanding, Regeneron secures that $1 billion upfront payment from Sanofi, alongside up to $7 billion in future milestones.
