Bitcoin 3rd busiest day

Bitcoin's on-chain activity is climbing back toward its most active territory. Analysts say the signal is unmistakable.

On June 23rd, 2026, the network logged 862,979 transactions, the third highest single day since the blockchain launched in 2009. That count trails only two days from 2024, April's 927,010 and September's 910,083, no day in 2025 even came close.

June's daily average surged 90% year-over-year, hitting 651,655, already topping full-year medians for 2024 and 2025. But momentum hit a speed bump.

July 5th showed just 367,365 transactions, a one-day drop of 398,942, the steepest decline in two years. Still, the five-day average stands at 595,193.

59 days in 2026 have topped 600,000 versus just 5 in all of 2025. If the trend holds, 2026 could finish far closer to 2024's record pace than to 2025's slowdown.
