Something new just hit app stores, but you won't find it in the US yet. Meta has soft-launched Pocket, an app that lets users vibe-code their own generative AI minigames right from their phones.
It's been live on iOS and Android since June 29th, but Meta hasn't announced it—no press release, no public rollout. A help page even admits Pocket isn't available everywhere, including the US, despite its public listing.
TechCrunch suggests this might be Meta's big swing after hiring the team behind Gizmo, the AI prompt app that turned ideas into interactive experiences. Pocket calls itself a creative platform for making and sharing gizmos, and its Play Store code com.facebook.gizmo hints at the connection.
This is Meta's latest push to put generative AI creation tools directly into consumers' hands, no coding expertise required. For now, though, the app remains a quiet preview, available somewhere but not everywhere.
