8,000 Bitcoin—now held by one company. How a Trump-backed firm tripled its BTC stack in months. Tap to see how they did it!
What the video says
8,000 Bitcoin now held in one corporate treasury, up 50% in just 6 months. American Bitcoin Corp., the Trump-backed, Nasdaq-listed firm, crossed that threshold this week, making it one of the largest public holders of the asset.
Since its debut, the company's Bitcoin per share has nearly tripled, fueled by both mining output and direct purchases. In the first quarter alone, it mined 817 Bitcoin and added another 620 to its reserve, a 30% jump in 3 months.
Mining costs fell by nearly a quarter to $36,200 per coin after deploying over 11,000 new ASIC rigs in Alberta, lifting hash rate by 3 exahashes. Yet the balance sheet still shows an $81.8 million net loss on $62.1 million revenue, as expansion spending outpaced a softer crypto market.
A 1-for-15 reverse stock split took effect last week, reshaping shares without changing the underlying stack. With the Treasury still climbing, public investors now have a pure-play vehicle tied directly to Bitcoin's price.
