World’s largest AI factory

30 trillion tokens a day, enough to read every book ever written in under an hour, and a factory in Texas drawing as much power as 2 nuclear reactors. Crusoe's Abilene campus is now the world's largest AI factory, 2.1 gigawatts feeding 400,000 GPUs, already sold out to Oracle, OpenAI, and Microsoft before the first phase even went live.

The company that started by burning waste gas for Bitcoin just raised $1.375 billion at a valuation north of $10 billion. And its output isn't Bitcoin; it's intelligence, metered in tokens.

Fireworks AI serves 30 trillion of those tokens every day to over 10,000 customers, its annualized revenue leaping from $305 million at the end of 2025 to nearly $800 million by May this year. Yet the real tension isn't scale.

But machines don't click ads, so the web's ad-funded content model is collapsing under its own success. Europe's €20 billion AI Gigafactories initiative is racing to buy sovereignty one GPU at a time, but the report calls it independence built on another civilization's foundations, not true autonomy.
