Meta's new Muse Image AI is here, and it can pull your friends into AI photos! 📸

How can an AI image generator reason through your prompt, search the web, and plan before it generates? Superintelligence Labs' Alexander Wang used those words to describe Muse Image, Meta's newly released model replacing the Llama lineup.
This agentic system, working with the Muse Spark text model, now powers creation tools across WhatsApp, Instagram, and the Meta AI app. In a notable feature, users can @mention other Instagram accounts to pull their friends' likenesses into AI photos using public images.
Beyond social tags, users can redesign entire rooms from online photos or edit images directly by drawing right on top of them. By the company's own count, this new engine will immediately power 30 new AI effects coming to Instagram Stories in the US.
