Zocdoc made the move after seeing a surge in automated traffic from patients using software to manage their schedules. Chief Communications Officer Jessica Aftman stated, "This marks the first time Zocdoc has marketed directly to AI agents." To support the rollout, Zocdoc is partnering with administrative assistant Instinct for direct server access.
Now, agents search Zocdoc's verified provider database to match patient needs, verify insurance, and lock in calendar appointments.
